Welcome to Sea Dogs

Sea Dogs is a small business based in Penryn Cornwall, owned and run by Diana Tomlinson with help from her husband John.
Although Di has been working with leather for about 30 years, Sea Dogs as a business has existed only since June 1999, when we were fortunate to find a workshop in an old sail loft next to the Penryn River.
Having this workshop has given us the opportunity to expand the business into new areas, but the same care and attention is still given to each project.

Leather Products for Yachts & Boats
Our main activity is in the field of marine leatherwork. The work ranges from chafing patches on yacht rigging and wheel gloves to leather upholstery of entire boat interiors.  More>>

One off Leather Commissions
In addition we produce one off commissions in leather to clients’ requirements, including non-marine items such as furniture upholstery, cases and bespoke goods. More>>

Cornish Sweaters
We also make a range of traditional Cornish Sweaters (Ganseys) to different village patterns from around Cornwall’s Coastline. More>>

Seadogs CAD
John has now setup a design office at Seadogs and will be carrying out design projects for individual clients and helping Di with some of her larger jobs. More >>
